Accont Manager-Trainee

We are looking forward to hire an Account Manager-Trainee for our reputed CRM client in Chennai.

This position is likely to grow into a sales management position; you have a great opportunity to seed and develop a sales organization from the bottom up. You are the driver.

You are selling Salesforce.com CRM technology. You are responsible for generating and driving new sales leads. Leads shall be generated form cold calling and leads shall be further cultivated from inbound channels. Bulk of activity shall involve generation of new leads in several geographies in the Indian market but your activity shall also include cultivating inbound leads from the US, Europe and Middle East. You should be able to forecast sales activity and revenue achievement.

Roles and responsibilities

Work with management on developing a sales strategic plan
  • Achieve/exceed an annual sales quota (most likely initially work on a quarterly quota basis and later transition to monthly)
  • Through cold calling, and inbound lead sources, constantly feed leads pipeline
  • Thoroughly qualify all leads & sales opportunities
  • Negotiate & close business – you are a business closer
  • Recruit new sales team members
  • Support US-based sales team with research and other pre sales activities

Required skills for the candidates

  • Should be a graduate in MBA/PGDM
  • Should have sound knowledge about IT sales and services
  • Highly interpersonal and communication must
  • Candidates having accounts knowledge is preferred
  • Able to work in with deadline targets
  • Must be self starter and possess keen observing skills
