Database Adminstrator

One of our prestigious client from South Africa is looking for Database Administrator with 5 - 6 years experience

Roles and Responsibilities

* Working with Professional services project teams during requirements analysis and design phases

* Coding activities and consultancy related to the implementation of proposed solutions

* Analysis and design of Oracle related component

* Involvement in Value Added Services(VAS) offerings to customers such as database health check and tuning activities.

* Actively develops own knowledge in the Oracle field – researching new product versions, industry trends, methodologies and technologies

Candidates need to have

* Strong technical skills and understanding gained through previous development process.

* Deep understanding of Oracle database products (8i – 10G) to senior DBA level.

* SQL / PL/SQL Programming and tuning experience.

* Knowledge in UNIX scripting is essential.
* Product Design and development experience.
