J2EE Architect

We are looking forward to hire a Java/J2EE Architect for one of our reputed client in Chennai.

Job requirement goes as below

Experience : 8 - 10 years
Technology: Strong background and understanding of open source and java technologies & frameworks (J2EE, JSP, JSF, Spring, Hibernate etc.)
Hands on experience with web tier and client server communication protocols and messaging standards (XML, RPC...)
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Ability to manage development teams and supervise workCo-ordination with offshore design & development team to deliver the proof of concept / prototype

Role Description:

1. Conduct technology evaluation for defining the presentation tier architecture and the business services integration framework
   
2. Collaborate with application architect and functional SME for the clearing system to understand the performance requirements, STP and usability considerations
   
3. Conduct/ lead proof of concept (POC) exercise to validate technology selection and UI architecture
   
4. Lead UI design and work with UI developers in building the screens for the new 'clearing & settlement' application
   
5. Define the messaging layer framework for business services (backend) integration
   
6. Come up with test strategy and plan for testing the presentation tier components
